We are proud to share that Mr. Jose Covarrubias has joined the Saints team as our new Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach. Coach Covarrubias is excited to provide our student-athletes with focused attention on their student experience and to enhance the strong foundation of the boys soccer program. With over seven years of coaching at both high school and club levels, Coach Covarrubias states that his goal is to "build a culture rooted in hard work, accountability, and pride in representing the School."
"I am incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to lead the Saints boys soccer program," shared Coach Covarrubias. "We want to develop our players not only into strong competitors on the field, but also into disciplined, committed young men off the field. I’m looking forward to building something special with this group and competing at a high level.”

Meet Mr. Jose Covarrubias
Mr. Jose Covarrubias brings over seven years of coaching experience at both the high school and club level, with a proven track record of building competitive, championship-level programs.
Most recently at Coppermine Soccer Club, Coach Covarrubias served as a head coach and age-group leader, rebuilding teams into nationally competitive squads that competed in leagues such as E64, National League, and ECNL Regional League. He currently continues his involvement at the youth level, working with U9 players to develop foundational skills and foster a love for the game.
During his tenure, he led teams to multiple major accomplishments, including an E64 League Championship, Jefferson Cup title, and a State Cup Championship. He has also played a key role in player development, helping numerous athletes advance to the collegiate level across NCAA divisions, including one former player who is currently competing professionally.
Coach Covarrubias previously coached at Calvert Hall College High School, where he spent seven years developing players across the freshman, sophomore, and junior varsity levels, winning four championships and consistently preparing athletes for varsity competition in the highly competitive MIAA A Conference.
A former Calvert Hall player himself, Coach Covarrubias understands the local soccer landscape and the standards required to succeed. He is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field while building a strong, competitive culture within the program.
