Originally from Newark, Delaware, Coach LaRocco grew up playing volleyball and softball, sparking a lifelong passion for athletics. While earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware, she had her first coaching opportunity with the freshman volleyball team at Newark High School for three years. Shortly after beginning her nursing career, Coach LaRocco got married and had two children prior to relocating to Harford County, Maryland, in 2014. Alongside raising her family, she pursued a career in nursing and fitness/nutrition coaching with her passion for coaching volleyball rekindled when her daughter began to play.

 

With over 10 years of experience in volleyball coaching, Coach LaRocco previously helped Maryvale win four consecutive IAAM A Conference Championships as the Varsity Assistant Coach. Her positive, encouraging coaching style demands effort and fosters teamwork, and she is excited to lead the Saints to excel both on the court and in all aspects of their lives.
