Personal Device Policy Reminders for New School Year
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year for new students across all grade levels, the School will not recognize iPads and other non-Windows tablets as acceptable personal devices due to various network and software compatibility issues. The Concordia Prep Technology Office will provide limited support for these devices next school year. In addition, any laptops running the "Windows 10" operating system will no longer be considered an acceptable personal device and will not be supported by the Technology Office.

Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, iPads and other non-Windows tablets will not be approved personal devices for all grade levels unless these devices are included in formal learning accommodations. We strongly encourage all returning students to begin transitioning from the use of a tablet or iPad to a recommended device (Windows 11 laptop, Apple MacBook, or Microsoft Surface). A new, optional device purchasing portal is now available for families to assist with guidance for approved devices and preparation for this transition. Please contact support@concordiaprepschool.org with any questions about the new policy.
