    Donations for the Hearty Soup Drive Due Today
    Students are encouraged to bring cans of soup to school beginning this week through today, Thursday, February 12th. Donated cans can be placed in the designated boxes in the school buildings. Our goal is to collect over 1,000 cans that we will donate to the Assistance Center of Towson Churches (ACTC) and The Haven at Loch Raven High School! If this goal is reached, there will be a sweet treat for our students and faculty courtesy of NewThing.
     
    Digital Marketing Club Interest Meeting This Morning
    Do you have a passion for photography, graphic design, and videography? Are you looking for additional opportunities to enhance your skills and to serve the Saints community? Middle and Upper School students are invited to join us today, Thursday, February 12th at 7:30 a.m. in the Bridges Media Center for an interest meeting about Influencers, the School's new student digital marketing organization. Please contact Mrs. Evans with any questions or if you're unable to make the interest meeting.
     
    Favorite Things Happy Hour on Thursday, February 19th
    Join us for a happy hour next Thursday, February 19th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Bridges Media Center for an evening full of fellowship, laughter, and support for this year’s Saints Gala: Diamond Soiree! Attendees are encouraged to join in the fun and bring any (or all) of the following that will be used for the March 21st Saints Gala:
    • A favorite item or experience to donate to the event, such as trips (i.e., hotel accommodations, vacation home rentals), personal talent (i.e., chef, baker, gardener, music lessons), and gift certificates (i.e., restaurants, florists, movies, golf outings, spas or salons, music events)
    • A favorite item or two for your student's graduating class basket
      • Class of 2032 (6th Grade) - "Fun for Kids" basket
      • Class of 2031 (7th Grade) - "You Deserve A Spa Day" basket
      • Class of 2030 (8th Grade) - "Let's Have A BBQ" basket
      • Class of 2029 (9th Grade) - "Outdoor Family Fun" basket
      • Class of 2028 (10th Grade) - "Movie Night" basket
      • Class of 2027 (11th Grade) - "Maryland Fan" basket

    Concordia Prep Parents Bachata Dancing Night
    All current Concordia Prep parents and guardians are invited to a lively evening of music, movement, and connection on Friday, February 27th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Hofmeister Hall (Upper School building), Room 202. Join us for a fun night of learning bachata with ballroom dance coach, choreographer, and Saints parent Anna Arutunyan.

    Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have never stepped onto a dance floor before, this evening is all about having fun, learning something new, and spending time together. Enjoy dancing, light refreshments, and the chance to get to know fellow parents in a relaxed and joyful setting.

    Come solo or bring a partner — no experience required, just comfortable shoes and a great attitude! Guests must be 21 or older. Please RSVP by Tuesday, February 24th.

    The Saints Gala: A Diamond Soiree
    Mark your calendars to join us on Saturday, March 21st to celebrate 60 years and join our Concordia Prep community for this annual dinner and auction. This year's event will raise funds towards the A Bold Legacy campaign. More details, including information about tickets and sponsorships, is available on the event website. We look forward to seeing you with us at this year's diamond soiree! 
     
    Summer at Concordia Prep Registration Now Open
    The School is excited to offer Summer at Concordia Prep, a variety of camp programs this summer for students ages 7 through 12th grade with wide interests and passions. Registration and specific camp information are available on our website.
    MIDDLE SCHOOL
    Middle School Activity Night on Friday, February 27th
    Concordia Prep Middle School Student Council will be hosting Middle School students are invited to join their classmates for a fun evening full of activities, games, and prizes, including a 3 v. 3 basketball tournament, on Friday, February 27th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Lutheran Activity Center (LAC). There will be pizza and drinks available as well.

    Tickets are $15.00 per student. Payment should be placed in an envelope, marked with the student's first and last name along with grade, and turned into Mrs. Calheira by Wednesday, February 25th. Families should also complete the RSVP by Wednesday, February 25th for students to participate.

    Middle School Spring Sports Begin Next Month
    Middle School spring sports will start the week of March 2nd. Additional information will be available soon regarding their schedules. 
    UPPER SCHOOL
    Social Studies Bowl XXVI : Sign-Ups Now Available
    Show off your knowledge of history, geography, current events, and more (including a mysterious new category!). Sign up in two-person teams with your Upper School social studies teacher by Friday, February 20th. 
     
    The bracket will be made in time to start preliminary round matches in early March. Matches are held during Class 1 (day of the week to be determined). If you have a Class 1, you will be excused from class for your match. Rules of play can be found here. See Ms. Weldon (in 212) if you have questions. 
     
    Upper School Spring Sports Start Next Week
    Spring sports for Upper School students will begin on Tuesday, February 17th at the designated locations and times below for each sport. Following Tuesday, students should check with their coach regarding the location and times of practices due to field and weather conditions. Additional details and information are listed below for the first two weeks of the spring season:

    Class of 2026 Families: Register for the Senior Dinner
    The annual Senior Dinner, hosted by the PTL, will be held on Friday, March 13th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria. This event is a memorable evening allowing families to reflect on their students' time at Concordia Prep while sharing a meal and fellowship with other Class of 2026 families. Seniors are allowed to bring up to two (2) guests with them to the dinner. The PTL covers the cost for the graduating student for the dinner; however, each guest must purchase a ticket for $25.00 to attend. Payment is required by Sunday, March 1st via this link.
     
    Class of 2027: Save the Date for Your Junior Ring Ceremony
    The traditional Junior Ring Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 14th to recognize our juniors and their leadership here at Concordia Prep. Additional information about this event will be distributed soon.
