    MIDDLE SCHOOL
    Red Out Spirit Night Tonight
The Middle School Student Council will host a Middle School Red Out Spirit Night tonight, Wednesday, January 14th. Middle School students are encouraged to return to school and show their Saints spirit at the Varsity Boys Basketball game at 6:00 p.m. in Saints Gym. All students are encouraged to wear RED to the game! There will be a t-shirt giveaway for the first 25 Middle School students at the main entrance of the gym tonight for the Varsity Boys Basketball game only.

There will not be any planned activities (i.e., board games, movie, arts and crafts) after school before the game. Therefore, families will need to pick up their students at regular dismissal time and return for the game. Families can also utilize the Extended Day Program (EDP). Any Middle School athletic practices on Wednesday are still on as scheduled. Please contact Mrs. Calheira or Mr. Miller with any questions.

Poetry Out Loud School Competition This Friday
Upper School students are invited to participate in the annual Poetry Out Loud National Recitation Competition. Students will present one poem next Friday; selected poems must come from poetryoutloud.org and be memorized and recited before judges and an audience. The winner and runner-up will advance to regional and then state competition in March. At the regional, state, and national levels, three poems must be memorized and recited (the three poems must be selected by January 16th). For questions or to participate in the school competition, contact Mr. Doede or Mrs. Johnson.

Seniors are allowed to bring up to two (2) guests with them to the dinner.
