Relaxed Dress Day Today
The School will have a relaxed dress day today, Friday, September 12th. Please consult the handbook for relaxed dress guidelines; however, all participants are encouraged to wear red or Concordia Prep gear in celebration of our 60th year of mission.
To participate, students can donate $5.00 cash, which will be collected Friday morning during first classes. No electronic payments will be accepted. The raised money will be used to provide support for the November 14th Saints Bingo event.
Welcome BBQ: Celebrating 60 Years Today
Concordia Prep is hosting a community event for all of our Saints community on Friday, September 12th from 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on campus. We will be celebrating the start of the 60th year of the School's mission with food and lawn games provided as well as raffles and giveaways. We will also be cheering on our Saints Girls Varsity Soccer and JV/Varsity Volleyball Teams at their games as well!

All Middle School and 9th Grade Students: Become a "Saint for a Day" Guide
We are excited to announce that the Admissions Office is looking for student volunteers to serve as “Saint for a Day” Guides for prospective students visiting Concordia Prep. As a guide, you will have the opportunity to welcome visiting students to our campus, escort them to classes, introduce them to teachers and friends, share your experiences about academics, activities, and student life, and represent what it truly means to be a Concordia Prep Saint. Complete the
"Saint for a Day" Interest Form by tomorrow, Friday, September 12th. Your participation plays an important role in helping future Saints feel comfortable and excited about joining our community.

Dress Code Reminder: Visibly Wear Your Student IDsAll students should wear their student IDs visibly on their lanyards as part of the school dress code. It is their responsibility to wear this visibly every day and to provide them with access to school buildings during the school day. If a card is lost or breaks, please
contact Ms. Bainbridge. Cards can be replaced for a $10 fee. If students need a replacement lanyard or plastic protector, they can pick those up in the Front Office.
School Loaner Devices
If Upper School students need to borrow a school device for the day, please see Mr. Rathman in Room 106 (Room 202 on Thursday mornings) by 9:00 a.m. Middle School students should see Ms. Myers in Room 314 by 8:30 a.m. to check out a loaner device for the day. School loaner devices must be returned at the end of the school day. Unfortunately, students cannot borrow chargers from the Technology Office Help Desk for their personal devices. Contact

Fall Orders for Concordia Prep Boathouse Jackets Due Sunday
Boathouse jackets are an approved outerwear item and available to purchase
via this link through Sunday, September 14th. These will be mailed directly to the student's home in early November. There will be two more opportunities to purchase these jackets this school year with those links being activated shortly after the previous order date ends with those deliveries estimated in early February and late July.
Heaven Sent to Offer Breakfast Starting MondayHeaven Sent Catering will now offer breakfast items beginning next Monday, September 15th. Breakfast will be available to students from 7:30-8:45 a.m. in the cafeteria Mondays thru Fridays while school operates on a normal schedule. Payment via tap-to-pay will be accepted. There are no cash payment options.
Student Picture Day Next Friday
Students in Grades 6-11 will have their portraits taken in the morning on Friday, September 19th. Proofs will be emailed along with an order form to their families from Irvin Simon Photographers by mid-October. Retakes will be in November.

Saints Bingo: Friday, November 14th

Middle School fall sports practices continue next week with the practices following the schedule below:

Middle School Movie Night
Concordia Prep will host a Movie Night for Middle School students only on Friday, September 26th from 7:00-9:30 pm in the Quad (Rain location: Gym). Snacks will be provided, and the movie title will be announced soon. Students are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chair.
Cost is $10 to participate. Please place payment in an envelope with the student’s name and grade on the outside. All payments must be turned into Ms. Calheira or Mr. Miller by Friday, September 19th.

Juniors and Seniors--RSVP to Attend Your Sunrise Service
The traditional Sunrise Service for juniors and seniors will be held at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, September 26th at the gazebo. Hosted in collaboration with the PTL and Pastor Couser, participating students will be able to join in fellowship and enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, donuts, and pastries while they wait for the beauty of the day to start. Following the sunrise service, students will move to the cafeteria for a more filling breakfast of French toast casserole, sausage links, fruit salad, and much more! Class of 2026 and 2027 students

Donations Needed
Families donations are needed for this traditional event. Please sign up to help out either by offering gifts of time or supplies/food items
via this link. All items should be brought the morning of the event; however, please
contact the PTL to make arrangements to drop off items on Thursday, September 25th.
Class of 2026 Senior Cap and Gown
Seniors should
complete this form by Friday, October 10th so that the school can order graduation regalia (i.e., caps, gowns, tassels).
