Check Lost and Found Items By T​o​morrow
Please check the lost and found shelves at the Middle School front entrance and in the Front Office by this Thursday, March 6th, for any missing items. All items left on the shelves will be donated over the long weekend.
 
Volunteers Needed 
The Parent-Teacher League (PTL) is looking for volunteers from non-senior families for the Senior Dinner ​next Friday, March 14th as well as donations for The Saints Gala on Saturday, March 29th. Use the sign up link to help out! 
 
Parent-Teacher Conferences Next Friday
An email will be distributed to families later today with a sign-up link for parent-teacher conferences next Friday, March 14th from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. on campus. As a reminder, School will be dismissing at Noon that day with no EDP.
 
Saints Gala: Early Bird Discount Extended! 
This year's Saints Gala will be held at The Center Club in downtown Baltimore from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29th. Formerly known as "Bid for Kids", the Saints Gala is the biggest fundraiser for our school and we want it to be a huge success. 
 
Ticket Discount Extended
The early bird discount has been extended through this Sunday, March 9th!  Tickets are available for purchase at $100.00 per individual ticket using the promo code SaintsFamily or tables of 10 for $1,000.00 using the promo code SaintsFamilyTable

Donations and Sponsors Needed
In addition to attending the event, you can also become a sponsor or donate an item for the silent and live auctions.

There is also an option to contribute to the Class baskets, which are noted below:

  • 8th Grade: Let’s Go, O’s!
  • 9th Grade: Ravens Tailgate

Suggestions for basket items are on the Amazon wish list, which can be delivered directly to the School to the attention of Advancement or dropped off in the Main Office by Thursday, March 13th. Please note that gift cards, monetary donations, or related items purchased at other stores are welcome. Contact the Advancement Office with any questions.

Middle School
Middle School Activity Night: Friday, March 21st
Middle School students are invited to join their classmates for a fun evening full of activities, games, and prizes, including a 3 v. 3 basketball tournament, on Friday, March 21st from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Saints Gym and Cafeteria. There will be pizza and drinks available as well. Tickets are $10.00 per student. Payment should be placed in an envelope, marked with the student's first and last name along with grade, and turned into Mrs. Calheira. Families should also complete the permission form by Wednesday, March 19th for students to participate.
 
Extended Day Program (EDP) Reminders
Concordia Prep offers the EDP, which operates from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m. every school day with a normal dismissal. There is an additional EDP fee of $15 per hour (charged in 15-minute increments). In the event that students are not picked up by 6:00 p.m., there is a $1.00 per minute charge. Families are billed for any EDP usage per individual student on a monthly basis with the charge added to their student's financial statement.
 
Required EDP
Any Middle School student who is not picked up by 3:30 p.m. and is not participating in an after-school activity with Concordia Prep faculty, staff, or coach supervision are required to go to EDP. This requirement allows for the continued safety and proper supervision of students. Middle School students are not permitted under any circumstance to leave the Concordia Prep property after school without adult supervision.
 
After-School Athletic Events: Special Permission
Middle School students are permitted to stay after school for any Middle or Upper School athletic events with parent/guardian authorization. An email should be sent directly to Mr. Miller, Middle School Principal and Dean of Students, prior to the game, providing permission for the student to stay for the event. Any student without parent/guardian authorization to stay will be ushered to EDP.
 
EDP Pick-Up
To pick up a student from EDP, please call the EDP phone at (443) 465-3771 after 3:30 p.m. once arriving on campus. The student will be dismissed for pick-up from out the front of the Middle School building.
 
Upper School
Social Studies Bowl Update
​The tournament is almost upon us! Brackets will be posted by ​today, Wed​nesday, March 5th, with match-ups, dates​, times, and room numbers for the first round. The first round of matches will take place on ​next Thursday, ​March 13th at 8:00 or 8:15​ a.m. If ​​students have any conflict​s, ​t​hey must speak to Ms. Weldon at least 48 hours in advance of ​their match. Matches will be played as long as one team member from each team is in attendance, so ​students should not leave ​their partner hanging! Ms. Weldon will write a general faculty-wide excuse for absence from part of Class 1 activities for ​t​he match. ​P​articipating students are expected to be in class for the remainder of Class 1.
 
Class of 2025 Senior Dinner RSVP Extended Until Tomorrow
The Parent-Teacher League is looking forward to hosting the Senior Dinner on Friday, March 14th from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. If you have not submitted your RSVP and payment for your tickets yet, please do so via this link by the end of the day ​tomorrow, Thursday, March 6th.  Please email the PTL with any questions about this event.
 
Class of 2026 Junior Ring Ceremony: RSVP Due Next Monday
The traditional Junior Ring Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 5:00 p.m. in the Bridges Media Center to recognize our juniors and their leadership here at Concordia Prep. All juniors are welcome to attend and do NOT need to have purchased a ring to participate as they will receive a School pin that evening. Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony.  In order for the School to plan accordingly for the event, please complete the RSVP form by Monday, March 10th
 
Class of 2025 Baby Photos Still Needed
The Class of 2025 slideshow is played at the Commencement ceremony. Families should submit their favorite baby picture of their graduating student either as a newborn or up to age five by March 25, 2025. This image will be used in the yearbook as well. Thank you to those who have already submitted their senior's baby photo!
