Saints plagued by slow start in slugfest setback

Sophomore Jordan Mentzell homered and drove in three runs and sophomore catcher Jonathan Couser smacked his fifth home run of the season, but it was not enough to overcome 12 runs by St. Frances in the first three innings en route to a 14-11 loss. The Saints dropped to 2-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the MIAA C conference.
