Faculty vs. Varsity Baseball Team Softball Game Today
A new Concordia Prep tradition, the Varsity Baseball team will compete against faculty along with some baseball family members in a slow pitch softball game to celebrate the end of the baseball season. This will take place today, Thursday, May 29th, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Saints Field. All are welcome to come and cheer on both teams. 
 
Transportation Service Registrations Now Available
Because our students come from all over Maryland, we understand that getting to school can sometimes be a challenge. Therefore, Concordia Preparatory School is pleased to offer two bus routes that will provide transportation to and from school for the 2025-2026 school year. Please note that there are limited spaces available for each of the bus routes. Space will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis until the buses are at capacity. There are no guarantees for space on each route. A separate registration should be completed for each student. Register Here
 
Course Requests for 2025 - 2026 School Year
Course requests are now open for the 2025-2026 school year. On Monday, students in grades 8-11 should select "Course Requests" in the MyConcordia dashboard to begin this process. A student course request guide is available as well in the MyConcordia resources. Course requests will close on June 10th at 3:00 p.m., which is the last day of school. Please contact Ms. Bainbridge with any questions.

Digital Media Production Course Application: In addition to submitting the course request for Digital Media Production, students will also need to complete the required course application by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10th.

Register for Summer at Concordia Prep by June 6th
The School is excited to extend the offer for some of our camp programs this summer for students ages 7 through 12th grade with wide interests and passions. PTL Membership for the 2025-2026 School Year Now Available
Through your PTL membership, With our mission to support all Concordia Prep students, families, parents and staff, your PTL membership dues support many events and activities, including back-to-school night, teacher appreciation week, graduation celebrations, and much more! Please complete the membership form to process your PTL membership for the 2025-2026 school year. We look forward to seeing you on campus and your continued support throughout the school year!
 
Limited Free Pre-Participation Physical Examinations Thru Baltimore County
MedStar Health Orthopedics is offering free physical examinations for student-athletes this July. There are limited spaces available. Appointments are required. Please see the information for the Timonium and Franklin Square locations that are offering these to our students.
 
Middle School
 
Last Day to Purchase 8th Grade Shirts 
There is a limited number of Class of 2029 shirts available for purchase ($10.00 each). Please see Mrs. Calheira to purchase your shirt by today, Thursday, May 29th. 
 
Traditional Water Day Celebration Today
We are excited to continue a Concordia Prep Middle School tradition. The annual Middle School Water Day is scheduled for today, Thursday, May 29th from 2:00 - 2:55 p.m. Today, Middle School students have permission to bring in their favorite “Super Soakers” for a time of water fun. 
 
Today is also a Relaxed Dress Day for Middle School students only. Students should refer to relaxed dress guidelines in the handbook. 8th Graders are encouraged to wear their Class of 2029 shirts as there will be a group photo of all 8th graders on their last day of school.
 
Please adhere to the following guidelines for Water Day:
  • All Super Soakers should be brought into Mr. Miller’s office at the beginning of the school day for inspection and safekeeping until the Water Day festivities begin. We suggest that students' names be written on their Super Soakers.
  • Students must wear covered shoes – no flip flops – during the Water Day activities.  Water shoes are permitted.
  • No white T-Shirts, shorts, or tank tops should be worn.
  • Bathing suits may be worn underneath clothes; however, clothes must be worn at all times. Athletic shorts may be worn with compression shorts/spandex underneath.
  • It is suggested that students participating in water activities bring in a towel.
  • There will be a designated area for students who wish to participate in the Water Day. Students who do not wish to participate in water activities will have a separate area that is a water-free zone.
8th Grade Affirmation Service Tomorrow
A Service of Affirmation to celebrate the Concordia Prep 8th grade class is scheduled for this Friday, May 30th, at 6:30 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, located at the corner of Loch Raven Boulevard and Belvedere Avenue. Additional details about this event were emailed to 8th grade families. Please contact Mr. Miller with any questions. 
 
End-of-Year Bowling Celebration on Friday, June 6th
Designed for our 6th and 7th grades, students are invited to celebrate the end of the school year with their classmates on Friday, June 6th, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Towson AMF Bowling Alley. Cost to participate $20.00 per student, which includes lunch, arcade, bowling rentals, and transportation to the bowling alley. Students must be picked up at 3:00 p.m. at the Towson AMF Bowling Alley. Please be reminded that students should wear socks and are able to bring a change of clothes should they wish to change out of their uniform.
 
Permission Form and Payment Due June 2nd: Payment should be placed in an envelope, marked with the student's first and last name, and turned into Mrs. Calheira by Monday, June 2nd. Families should also complete the permission form by Monday, June 2nd, for students to participate.
 
Upper School
 
Semester Two Exams - June 5th - 10th
Semester Two Exams begin in two weeks beginning on Thursday, June 5th thru the last day of school on Tuesday, June 10th. Please note that there will be a Noon dismissal on each exam day with no EDP available. All students must be picked up by 12:30 p.m. at the latest. Read more about the schedule and additional exam information.
 
Summer Technology Course: Register by June 13th
Students going into 9th grade or above may register for an online 21st Century Technology summer course. The course will run from June 30th through August 8th. This course option will free up a student's schedule to take other classes during the new school year. It is not required to take this over the summer. The fee for the course is $395. To register, students' families should contact Ms. Bainbridge no later than Friday, June 13th.
 
Class of 2026 - Senior Portrait Scheduling Now Available
Attention Juniors: It's hard to believe but your senior year is just around the corner! Concordia Prep has secured Irvin Simon Photography for formal senior portraits, which will need to be scheduled during this summer. This photo will be used for the senior yearbook photo along with other School graduation celebrations, so we encourage everyone to schedule a formal sitting.
