Traditional Water Day Celebration Today
We are excited to continue a Concordia Prep Middle School tradition. The annual Middle School Water Day is scheduled for today, Thursday, May 29th from 2:00 - 2:55 p.m. Today, Middle School students have permission to bring in their favorite “Super Soakers” for a time of water fun.
Today is also a Relaxed Dress Day for Middle School students only. Students should refer to relaxed dress guidelines in the handbook. 8th Graders are encouraged to wear their Class of 2029 shirts as there will be a group photo of all 8th graders on their last day of school.
Please adhere to the following guidelines for Water Day:
- All Super Soakers should be brought into Mr. Miller’s office at the beginning of the school day for inspection and safekeeping until the Water Day festivities begin. We suggest that students' names be written on their Super Soakers.
- Students must wear covered shoes – no flip flops – during the Water Day activities. Water shoes are permitted.
- No white T-Shirts, shorts, or tank tops should be worn.
- Bathing suits may be worn underneath clothes; however, clothes must be worn at all times. Athletic shorts may be worn with compression shorts/spandex underneath.
- It is suggested that students participating in water activities bring in a towel.
- There will be a designated area for students who wish to participate in the Water Day. Students who do not wish to participate in water activities will have a separate area that is a water-free zone.
