School is closed for Christmas Break from Monday, December 23rd through Friday, January 3rd. School resumes on a normal schedule on Monday, January 6th. There will also be no Middle School basketball team practices or games during break.

Weekly Study Tips:
As Concordia Prep prepares for end-of-year projects, tests, and exams, the School will be sharing daily study tips to support students in their academic success.
Today's Study Tip: Sometimes drawing helps you remember things. So when you study, make a mind map or create little doodles that connect to key concepts. That way, when it comes time to take the exam, you can create that same doodle on your test.

Financial Assistance Application Submissions Due Friday, December 20th
Concordia Preparatory School is partnering with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment for the 2025-2026 school year. All Concordia Prep families must complete an online financial assistance application each year to be eligible for financial assistance consideration and to potentially have current financial awards reapplied for the next school year. Additional information regarding the financial assistance process and requirements are available here.
Concordia Prep Gray Sweatshirts Available for Purchase!
If you were not able to order a sweatshirt at the beginning of the year, we have opened the store again! Please place any new orders here by this Sunday, December 22nd. Once the site has closed, the orders will be processed and should have them delivered in January following Christmas break.
Middle School
Middle School Christmas Celebrations This Friday, December 20th
Middle School students will celebrate the Christmas season as a community this Friday, December 20th during the school day. Friday will also be a Christmas-themed, relaxed dress day for the Middle School with clothing worn in accordance with dress code policy. Students taking Math exams must be in uniform for the exam, but they can bring Christmas-themed clothes to change into for the party following their exam.
We are asking students from each grade to bring a specific type of snack/treat to enjoy with their classmates. See below:
- 8th Grade: Bottled Waters (No Juice) OR Fruit and Veggies
- 7th Grade: Salty Snack
- 6th Grade: Sweet Snack
Please do not send any items with nuts or peanut butter due to potential allergies. Safety measures will be taken to continue to keep our students healthy. Please contact Mr. Miller with any questions.
Save the Date for Skateland!
Concordia Prep Middle School students will be having an off-campus event at Skateland on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Additional details and permission form coming soon!

Exam Schedules for This Week
The exam schedule continues through Friday, December 20th. The School dismisses at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) each exam day. Please note the schedule and additional information.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Available for Class of 2025
FAFSA has officially opened as of December 1st for rising college students and is the gateway to unlocking financial aid for your student’s college education. It determines eligibility for grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and federal student loans. Completing the FAFSA is a critical first step in helping your student afford higher education, and many schools award aid on a first-come, first-served basis—so act quickly! Learn more here.
Class of 2025 Banners
Over the last few years, the Parent-Teacher League (PTL) has offered the opportunity for graduating students' families to purchase a senior banner. The banners will be displayed in the school hallways beginning in March to celebrate our graduating class and will be returned home before graduation day. Banners are 32" x 15" and are $30.00 per banner. To place your order, please complete this form and submit payment by Friday, January 24th.
