Next Week's Reminders: School will dismiss at Noon next week beginning on Tuesday, December 17th - Friday, December 20th. There is no Extended Day Program (EDP) offered Tuesday - Friday, so all students must be picked up by 12:30 p.m. at the latest.

Weekly Study Tips:
As Concordia Prep prepares for end-of-year projects, tests, and exams, the School will be sharing daily study tips to support students in their academic success.
Today's Study Tip: Make your own digital or hard copy flashcards to help you study vocabulary words and important concepts. These can then be used to make a study competition with a classmate, quizzing each other on exam material with a small reward, such as a candy bar or snack item of your choice.
Concordia Prep Gray Sweatshirts Available for Purchase!
If you were not able to order a sweatshirt at the beginning of the year, we have opened the store again! Please place any new orders here by Sunday, December 22nd. Once the site has closed, the orders will be processed and should have them delivered in January following Christmas break.

It’s time to order your 2024 Concordia Prep School Christmas ornament! The Parent-Teacher League (PTL) has a limited number of ornaments available for sale. Each ornament is $15.00. Order here.
Are You Missing Something? Check the Lost and Found Items by Today!
The lost and found area in the Front Office has grown over the past few weeks. If students have misplaced anything in the last few weeks, they should stop by the Front Office to double check. We will be donating any uncollected items by the end of the school day tomorrow, Friday, December 13th.
Financial Assistance Application Submissions Due Friday, December 20th
Concordia Preparatory School is partnering with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment for the 2025-2026 school year. All Concordia Prep families must complete an online financial assistance application each year to be eligible for financial assistance consideration and to potentially have current financial awards reapplied for the next school year. Middle School
Middle School Christmas Party on Tuesday!
There will be a Middle School Christmas Party next Tuesday, December 17th from 12:15 - 2:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. All students must be picked up by 2:30 p.m. as there is no EDP due to the early dismissal at Noon. Please have students bring a plain white sock for a craft. All other materials will be provided along with lunch for all attending students.
In addition to crafts and other offered activities, students can choose to participate in a White Elephant gift exchange game. Those participating should bring a wrapped gift that is no more than $10.00 in value. Middle School boys and girls will exchange gifts in two separate groups.
Middle School families should complete the permission and RSVP form by Monday, December 16th. Please contact Mrs. Calheira or Mrs. Miller with any questions.
Save the Date for Skateland!
Concordia Prep Middle School students will be having an off-campus event at Skateland on January 10, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Additional details and permission form coming soon!
Upper School
Jostens on Campus for Classes of 2026 and 2025 Today
A representative from Jostens will be on campus during lunch today, Friday, December 13th, for ring sizing for juniors. Jostens will also have graduation items, such as announcements, available for seniors to review.
CONCORDIA PREPping with Pancakes on Tuesday
Upper School students are invited to prepare for a successful start of exams with a hearty pancake and juice breakfast on their first day of midterm exams on Tuesday, December 17th. Concordia Prep administrators will be making and serving pancakes that morning from 7:30 - 8:20 a.m. in the Cafeteria. To participate, students must check in first with their advisory class once arriving on campus and then check out with their advisor before attending the event. Many blessings and much success to all students with their exams!
Exam Schedules Available
The exam schedule begins on Tuesday, December 17th through Friday, December 20th. The School dismisses at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) each exam day. Please note the schedule and additional information.

FAFSA has officially opened as of December 1st for rising college students and is the gateway to unlocking financial aid for your student’s college education.
