Hurricane Helene Relief Support: Donations Needed
Concordia Prep School is partnering with NewThing to support those affected by Hurricane Helene. Our community is coming together to address the high need for hygiene products by making personal hygiene kits. We are collecting items through this Friday, October 11th. Donated items can be placed in designated boxes around campus.
Read more about this initiative and how you can help.
Technology Office Updates
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month! Students should check their school email accounts for weekly emails from Mrs. Trapani and the hallway TVs for information about cyber security topics and how to stay safe on the Internet.
Personal Student Device Issues
As a reminder, the Technology Office cannot troubleshoot hardware issues on a student's personal device other than advising a power cycle. Students are encouraged to speak with their families about any issues and contact a repair facility, as necessary. Our staff can issue short-term loaner devices for up to 3 weeks with parental consent to allow students to use.
LCMS Youth Gathering July 2025 Family Information Session This Tuesday
NewThing is excited to be taking a group of youth to the 2025 National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA, on July 19-23. The National Youth Gathering is an event put on every 3 years by the LCMS where over 20,000 high school youth will come together as a community of God's people to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Christian faith, and their Christian identity, and build impactful connections. This is an opportunity for current 8th-12th graders to come together as a community of God's people to learn more about Jesus Christ and the Christian faith through worship, service, and other fun activities.
Family Information Meeting: Tuesday, October 8th at 7:00 p.m.
