The Saints Spirit Cookout is a community event for the whole family and will take place tomorrow, Saturday, September 28, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the CPS Quad. There will be food and drinks provided as well as a Spirit Wear and gently used uniforms sale, raffles, and giveaways. And stay afterwards to cheer on the Saints football team as they take on Loyola with a noon kickoff on Saints Field! Raffle winners will be announced during halftime. Please RSVP via this link. We would love to see you there! 

 

Concordia Prep School black fleece jackets, which are part of the CPS uniform, are now available to purchase online for $50.00. Orders must be received by the end of the day this Sunday, September 29th. Order here. 

 

Thursday, October 3rd from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. (regular school day for students) and 

Friday, October 4th from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (No school for students on Friday.)

Concordia Prep Families: Please complete the Parent-Teacher Conferences Scheduling Form by Tuesday, October 1st at the latest. 

 

Concordia Prep is in the process of completing its Middle States accreditation and assessing itself against the 12 Middle States Standards for Accreditation. These standards and indicators take a holistic look at the entire school program, resources, and environment from the perspective of all of the school’s stakeholders, including our CPS families.

 

We are asking that our CPS parents complete this anonymous survey by the end of day next Friday, October 4th. These survey results will be used to identify areas of strength as well as opportunities for growth and improvement for the School. NewThing is excited to be taking a group of youth to the 2025 National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA, on July 19-23. The National Youth Gathering is an event put on every 3 years by the LCMS where over 20,000 high school youth will come together as a community of God's people to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Christian faith, and their Christian identity, and build impactful connections.

This is an opportunity for current 8th-12th graders to come together as a community of God's people to learn more about Jesus Christ and the Christian faith through worship, service, and other fun activities.

There will also be a Zoom meeting at 7:00 p.m. for parents on Tuesday, October 8th. 

 

 

All Middle School students are invited to a Movie Night tonight, Friday, September 27th from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. on the Quad (Rain location: Gym). Snacks will be provided as we watch Despicable Me 4! Students are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chair. 

 

Registration Extended! Cost is $10 to participate. Payments are still being accepted! Please place payment in an envelope with the student’s name and grade on the outside.  All payments must be turned into Ms. Calheira or Mr. Miller today before the event begins. If your Middle School student plans on attending this event, we would ask that you complete this permission form.
