Homecoming Week Thanksgiving Item Donation: As part of the class competitions for homecoming week, each grade will be collecting specific items as listed below for a thanksgiving meal donation. The class in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will receive points for their grade.
6th grade - Sweet Potatoes/yams (23-29 oz cans) and brownie mix
7th grade - Beef Stew/chili (15-24oz cans) and bags/boxes of stuffing
8th grade - Fruit (20-30 oz cans) and bags/boxes of rice
9th grade - Vegetables (cans of green beans, peas, corn) and sweet potatoes/yams (23-2 9oz cans)
10th grade - Cranberry sauce and bags/boxes of stuffing
11th grade - Mac and cheese and beef stew/chili (15-24oz cans)
12th grade - Instant mashed potatoes and mac and cheese
2023 Homecoming Signups: Please sign up to participate in the following activities during Homecoming Week either outside the Main Office for Upper School or outside of Ms. Bloom’s room for Middle School.
If the slots are full before you are able to sign up, do not erase or cross out someone else's name.
Homecoming Week Dress Down Days: To celebrate homecoming, there will be a themed dress down day each day the week leading up to the dance. Your outfit must fit within the themed dress down day, otherwise you will be considered out of dress code. As a reminder, students should not wear skin tight clothing, visible undergarments, tank tops, sandals or shoes with no back (crocs in sport mode are acceptable), and clothes must be worn underneath one piece costumes or pajamas. All other relaxed dress expectations from the handbook are in effect.

Penny Wars: Each grade will have a bucket to collect change and bills. The class with the most positive points at the end of the week will get to choose which teacher they’d like to pie in the face at the pep rally.
Trunk or Treat, Sunday October 29: New Thing is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat for Concordia Prep School students and families. The Trunk or Treat is on Sunday, October 29, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. There will be hot dogs, snacks, and candy! A flyer is attached below. Entrance to the event can be denied if costumes are not appropriate. If you are interested in decorating and hosting a trunk, please contact Kaitlyn Stradtmann at
kaitlynstradtmann@concordiaprepschool.org Concordia Prep Sweatshirts on Sale Until Friday, October 20, 2023: Grey Concordia Prep sweatshirts have been added to the uniform dress code. Sweatshirts are unisex sizes and there are no youth sizes. The cost is $60. Pay by check made out to Concordia Prep. Order by Friday, October 20. They will arrive in early November and be distributed at school.
After this initial pre-order sale, there will be sweatshirts available to purchase through the school's online bookstore but sizes are not guaranteed. Order forms are available in the front office with Mrs. Hauf and Mrs. Ponton.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Activity Night: Friday, October 27 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. All Middle School students are invited to an activities night on Friday, October 27. There will be dancing, music, games, food, and fun! Cost is $10. Your parents must fill out the permission form in OnCampus. Questions: ask Mr. Miller.
UPPER SCHOOL
Homecoming Ticket Sales: Homecoming tickets will be sold for $10 during 1st lunch, 2nd lunch, and right after school by the main office. Homecoming is next Saturday October 21st from 7-10pm. Remember if you are bringing an outside guest, you must fill out and return an outside guest form by October 17th.
