Weekly Lunch Specials from Heaven Sent: Thursday – Pulled Pork Sandwich, Friday – Pizza.

All students in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 will be required to install an application named "Bluebook" by the College Board on their personal devices to be used for the digital PSAT. Students with personal Chromebooks are not required to install this application since it is not compatible with Chromebooks. The Guidance Department and Technology Department will conduct a "Digital Readiness Check" in preparation for the PSAT next week.

Students must download and install this application on their personal devices by Monday, September 25th. Please check your school email accounts for a message from Mrs. Trapani with installation instructions.

Sharing Christ’s Love with “The Haven”: Our neighboring school, Loch Raven High School, has more than 50% of its students living in poverty, and “The Haven” is a room set aside where students can get free items that many of us take for granted.

 

We will be collecting the following items between Monday, September 18, and Monday, October 2:

Bins for collection will be in both the Upper School and Middle School. At the end of the collection period, the school that has collected the most items per student will get an ice cream party. Each toiletries item (regular or family-sized) will count as five (5) items and each individual snack item will count as one (1) item.

Calling all Theatre Students: Interested in learning more about the annual Broadway Field Trip?This year we will be seeing & Juliet on Wednesday, November 29 and participating in a 90-minute Broadway masterclass led by current professionals from A Class Act NY Acting Studio--students can choose to participate in the Broadway Bound workshop where they learn a brief song and dance combo from an actor in the show, or participate in the Stage Combat workshop, where Broadway fight instructors take students through safe, simulated combat in a fun and fast-paced masterclass. See Mrs. Johnson for a permission slip; priority seating goes to students in a theatre/drama course, or participants in the fall play.

Concordia Prep 1/4 Zip Fleeces – On Sale Through Friday, September 22, 2023: 1/4 zip fleeces have been added to the school dress code. Fleeces are $50. Pay by check made out to Concordia Prep or cash in an envelope with your name. Order your fleece by Friday, September 22, 2023. They will arrive the week of October 23, 2023, and be distributed at school. After this initial pre-order sale, there will be fleeces available to purchase through the school's online bookstore but sizes are not guaranteed.

Order forms are available in the front office with Mrs. Hauf and the Main Office. Return the order form to Mrs. Hauf in the front office or to Mrs. Ponton in the Main Office with payment by Friday, September 22, 2023.

Boathouse Jacket Store Reopens: The Boathouse Jacket Store is open until Friday, September 29, 2023. Boathouse jackets are an acceptable addition to the school uniform and are sold from the manufacturer and shipped directly to your home approximately 30 days after the online store closes. At least six jackets must be ordered in order to receive the discounted price.

Sunrise Service on Friday, September 29 at 6:30 am.: Junior and Senior Students!

The PTL is excited to host the 3rd Sunrise Service with Pastor Couser. Please register with the link below or visit the Senior page in OnCampus to join us on the front lawn on Friday, September 29th at 6:30 am. The sunrise is 7:01am. We will follow the Service with breakfast for the Juniors and Seniors in the cafeteria.

 

 

FCA Meeting Today during Advisory: FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) for upper school students meets on Thursdays during advisory. We will gather in the cafeteria today.
