National Lutheran Schools Week is Next Week!
National Lutheran Schools Week (January 26th - February 1st) provides the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work among us here at Concordia Prep along with other schools of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We thank God for the opportunity to provide excellent academic preparation for the students we serve and to share Jesus’ amazing love and our many blessings within the communities we serve. Please see the information below as we prepare to celebrate next week at Concordia Prep.
Weeklong Service Project
The School will be collecting canned soups for the Loch Raven Haven food pantry. Each grade will have a collection box to collect soup cans through Friday, January 31st at Noon. Middle School boxes will be located by the Middle School building doors nearest the Quad. Upper School boxes will be outside the Front Office. Any canned soups are welcomed.
Class Competitions
Class competitions will run during National Lutheran Schools Week with the winner being announced at the pep rally on Friday, January 31st. Middle School Classes of 2029, 2030, and 2031 will compete separately from Upper School Classes of 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028. Students can earn points by winning a spirit dress down day theme, placing in the Bible Trivia, donating goods for the Loch Raven Haven, and pep rally game placings.
Spirit Day Themes
Next week, students may choose to show their Saints spirit during National Lutheran Schools Week and dress according to the day's theme, keeping in mind that the guidelines for relaxed dress attire will be upheld. If a student chooses not to dress according to the theme, they must be in the approved Concordia Prep uniform.
