Be a Saint for the Day!
Concordia Prep welcomes prospective students, boys and girls, interested in attending grades 6th-12th for a "Saint for a Day" experience at Concordia Preparatory School. It is our distinct pleasure to have your child get a sneak peek into the day of the life of a “Saint” and learn more about our community that is devoted to excellent education, leadership, and Christian Service.
Upper School and Middle School "Saint for a Day" visits will begin on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, and are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
To sign up for a "Saint for a Day" visit, families will need to complete an Inquiry Form and have an "Admissions Checklist" assigned prior to scheduling the campus visit.
What is a "Saint for a Day"?
"Saint for a Day" is a program that allows prospective students to experience a typical day at Concordia Preparatory School. The visit begins with a welcome from our Admissions Office team and current Saints, followed by the opportunity to attend classes and enjoy lunch alongside a student host.
We do our best to match guests with a requested host or a student who shares similar interests. While we recommend that students stay for the full day, accommodations can be made if a shorter visit is necessary.
What is the schedule for my future Saint's visit?
Students should arrive on campus by 9:00 a.m. and will be welcomed by our Admissions Office team. The visit begins with a brief introductory meeting for prospective students and families. Following this, students will be paired with their host and spend the day attending five (5) classes and enjoying lunch on campus with current Saints.
The day's visit concludes at 2:00 p.m., and all prospective students should be picked up at that time. Throughout the day, visiting students will complete a short questionnaire and may ask any final questions before departure.
What should students wear on their scheduled visit?
When spending the day at Concordia Preparatory School, students should wear neat, clean, and modest clothing. A current school uniform is also acceptable.
Please follow these guidelines below:
- Boys: Dress pants or khakis with a collared shirt (button-down or polo). Dress shoes are required— please no sandals, boots, or athletic shoes.
- Girls: Dress pants or a skort with a blouse or polo shirt. Shoulders must be covered.
Note that the following items are not permitted while on their formal campus visit:
- Denim/jeans of any kind
- Hats
- Clothing attire with inappropriate graphics
- Sandals and flip-flops
- Pajama-style pants
- T-shirts, tank tops, and halter tops
- Spandex, stretch pants, yoga pants, or leggings
Where do I go when I arrive on campus?
Upon arrival, you may park in the circle drive in a designated visitor spot or along the brick curb. You may also park in the lower parking lot and walk up to the main entrance of Hofmeister Hall, which is located under the Gazebo. A member of our team will be ready to greet you upon your arrival.
Who will be the student's host?
Prospective students may request a Saint Ambassador to serve as their host; however, specific pairings cannot be guaranteed. In most cases, visiting students will be paired with a current student from the grade they are expected to enter the following school year. Whenever possible, we make every effort to match students with hosts who share similar interests or have a connection through a previous school.
Is my student permitted to use their phone during their visit?
Guests visiting our Middle School or Upper School may carry a cell phone with them; however, it must remain silent and out of sight while inside the school buildings.
What books or classroom materials should my student bring?
In the rare event that your student's host has a test or quiz during one of the class periods, your student is welcome to bring homework from their current school, a book to read, or a notebook to use for journaling or taking notes throughout the day. Please note that outside computers are not permitted.
Should my student bring a packed lunch or money for lunch?
No, a lunch voucher will be provided for your student to enjoy a meal in the Saints cafeteria. Middle School students will also have a snack break at 10:20 a.m.
If your student prefers to bring their own lunch or snacks, they are welcome to do so.
Can my student participate in classes while visiting?
Yes! While we cannot guarantee what will be covered in each class, students are welcome to participate in discussions if they feel comfortable. If your student prefers to observe quietly, that is perfectly fine as well. Our teachers and students are excited to welcome your student to the School!
