Health, Wellness, and Support
The health and well-being of our Concordia Prep students are one of our top priorities to help with . The School employs a full-time nurse on campus during school operational hours.
In addition to collecting all health documentation prior to the start of the school year, the School Nurse evaluates and administers medical attention to students who become ill during the school day. Additionally, this office facilitates yearly vision and hearing screenings in coordination with the Baltimore County Health Department and provides information on a variety of health educational programs to encourage good health practices and prevention of illness.
Support Services
The Concordia Prep mission aims to assist students in achieving success through personal growth. With growth, there will be challenges, and the School offers resources to assist students through this process.
Both the Guidance Office team and Campus Pastor are available to meet with students to help facilitate academic, social, and emotional support on an as-needed basis. Students can self-refer or they may be referred by their teachers or families for counseling.
Referrals and Evaluations
The school maintains a list of referrals for educational, intellectual, psychological, or speech and language evaluations, should families wish to consult with the school regarding such an evaluation. Families who need guidance in this area are encouraged to consult with the Guidance Office. It is recommended that the results of such evaluations be shared with school personnel so that appropriate recommendations can be implemented.
