A Bold Legacy
Areas of Impact
At Concordia Preparatory School, we are blessed to serve over 490 students along with continued outreach efforts to support those in our communities. With the growth of enrollment and student programs within our current facilities, it is becoming increasingly difficult to serve our current students and attract prospective students. Through our A BOLD LEGACY campaign, the School can counter these issues and fulfill initiatives from the strategic plan developed by our Saints community. This includes the creation of a new classroom wing, the Saints Center for Student Life with an auditorium, renovations to the Lutheran Activity Center (LAC), and an expansion of the upper field with a turf installation. With these facility enhancements, the School will remain competitive and be better equipped to fulfill our mission to create an environment that nurtures students’ spiritual, academic, physical, and social growth to become leaders of faith and service. With praise for the past and faith for the future, Concordia Preparatory School will embolden our mission and legacy into our 60th year and beyond.
New Classroom Wing
The project will create an educational facility of approximately 5,000 square feet that will include: - Four New Classrooms (Two All-Purpose Learning Classrooms; Two Dedicated Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) Classrooms) - Additional Lockers With the continued growth in enrollment, every available space on campus, including classrooms, conference rooms, the black box theatre, and the media center, is currently utilized for instruction throughout the school day. No additional space remains for new lockers. The construction of the new classroom wing will provide dedicated learning environments for all classes and restore specialized spaces to their intended purposes, enhancing the overall educational experience for students.
Upper Field Turf Expansion
The upper field will be reconfigured and renovated to include: - Turf Field - New Softball Dugouts - Bleachers Throughout the school year, 19 athletic teams share practice and game time on Saints Field. While the upper field currently supports softball, it is not equipped for regular practices or regulation play in other sports. Adding turf to the upper field will create a state-of-the-art softball complex—making our school one of the few in the IAAM with a premier synthetic surface. This enhancement will also expand space for physical education classes and athletic practices. In addition, removing the old field house pad will open up a new half field of grass, providing even more opportunities for our student-athletes to train, compete, and grow.
Saints Center for Student Life
This project will create a building of approximately 20,000 square feet that will include: - Auditorium - The Ron and Reba Hammond Black Box Theatre - Music Room As the school continues to grow and enrollment increases, the need for an auditorium and additional classroom space has become clear. This new building will also house the music room and black box theatre, allowing their current spaces in the Lutheran Activity Center (LAC) to be transformed into an alumni room and a larger, upgraded weight room.
William Rach Lutheran Activity Center (LAC) Revitalization
This renovation will include: - New Weight Room - Middle School Locker Rooms - Alumni and Multipurpose Room With growing enrollment and continued athletic success, our school is expanding its facilities to better serve our students, creating new opportunities for learning, leadership, and growth both in and beyond the classroom. As part of the LAC revitalization, a new alumni room will also be established, providing a welcoming space to strengthen connections and celebrate the lasting impact of our community.
A Bold Legacy: Praise for the Past. Faith for the Future.
