Supporting Academic Excellence
In addition to our college-preparatory curriculum, the School offers additional academic programs to advance the Saints experience.
Academic Pathways Program
Concordia Preparatory School offers a competitive college preparatory program. For Upper School students who enjoy increased rigor, the School encourages participation in pathways designed to prepare students for future careers in specific fields.
Enriching Activities and Recognition
Students enrolled in the Concordia Prep Academic Pathways Program (Pathways) will receive priority scheduling for courses and have the opportunity to participate in field-specific enrichment activities, including seminars, field trips, and internships.
Upon successful completion of intentional challenging coursework and pathway-specific extracurricular opportunities, students will earn an endorsement and special designation at graduation.
General Requirements
Interested incoming students in 9th grade must express their desire to participate in Pathways during the general admissions application process at Concordia Preparatory School. Students 10th and 11th grades consideration if eligible met available space in the program.
Additional Admissions Requirements
Once the initial admissions application or reenrollment process has been completed, there are additional admissions requirements for the program.
- Must submit either the High School Placement Test (HSPT) or the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) scores
- Submit an additional interest form provided by the School
- Complete a mandatory interview with administration, which will be scheduled by the School
- Attend and actively participate in an annual orientation for the Academic Pathways Program
Program Requirements
Once a student is accepted into the program, a student must:
- Maintain 3.00+ unweighted cumulative GPA
- Continuously be involved in at least one extracurricular or co-curricular activity over the course of four years
- Complete service hours totaling 60 hours over four years (At least 40 hours should be dedicated to a single cause and not overlap with service hours for other programs)
- Attend offered leadership seminars with guest speakers
Students that do not meet these requirements will be placed on probation or removed from the Academic Pathways Program.
Required Program Fees
Students accepted into the Academic Pathways Program are required to pay an additional, non-refundable program fee, which covers the experiential learning opportunities and other needs associated with each individual program.
Initial Program Fee: $300
Annual Program Fee (After First Year of Enrollment): $200

The School is pleased to offer the following field-specific pathways for Upper School students.
Advanced Mathematics

Through a carefully curated curriculum, immersive learning experiences, and avenues for professional growth, the Advanced Mathematics Pathway lays the foundation for budding enthusiasts in mathematics, physics, and engineering. By empowering students to harness their potential, this program cultivates a passion for analytical exploration, innovative thinking, and practical problem-solving, setting them on a path to excel in these disciplines.
Health Sciences
“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease sickness.” Matthew 9:35 NIV Concordia Prep has a long history of launching students into careers in the health sciences. Recognizing the ever-increasing need for healthcare professionals, the School has created the Health Sciences Pathway to provide essential and fundamental courses to further the student along the path to careers in medicine, nursing, and physical/ occupational therapy.
Honors

James 1:5 NIV The Honors Pathway provides students with the opportunity to enroll in Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) level courses across a broad spectrum of disciplines. AP and Dual-Credit courses are available during the sophomore, junior, and senior years and would enable students to receive college credit.
Computer Science

Students in this program will learn essential programming languages and explore various techniques in design and interfacing as well as media production. Skills acquired can lead students to pursue careers in computer science fields, such as web design, game/app development, and network or cybersecurity
